In June 12th, 1996 Mr. Hans Ruf started a Service Company to bark trees.
1975
Mr. Ruf made a construction to handle small dimensioned wood
1979
Development of a trailer for tree trunks.
1981
Start up of the Company to process the bark to mulch, compost and briquettes
1982
The first trial press for making briquettes
from organic residual materials taking
account of the following criteria:
- trouble-free production
- resistant to impurities, mineral
pick-up and moisture differences
- high reliability
- easy to repair and maintain
This development is patented.
1984
Termination of machinery based barking
1985
We present our first briquette-making
press at the craft trade fair in Munich
and sell our first press to a woodwor-
king plant. This machine is still wor-
king two shifts today.
1986
Start of the new compost area for bark and local garden wastes. This is the area where the hole company is located now.
1990
Change of the old company into the „RUF Maschinenbau GmbH & Co.KG“
1994
Building of a new hall with 1.700 m² at the compost area for the test run of the Briquetting machines.
1997
Start of the production of the „small“ machines.
1998
500 briquetters are sold and delivered into 56 countries.
2003
In more than 83 countries we´ve sold 1000 briquetting machines.
2004
Induction of the new office building and move of the company from the “Tussenhausener Str. 6” to the “Hausener Str. 101”
2005
Expansion of the production with 2 new halls
2007
We reached the number of 2.000 sold machines. The machines are operated in over 90 countries of the world.
2008
Enlargement of the production space to 10.000 m²
