MAKING BRIQUETTES
EXAMPLE - WOOD
Raw materials for primary energy are becoming
ever more scarce. This trend obliges us to treat
nature in a sensitive and responsible manner.

By uncovering new sources of energy and reusing
residual materials as part of the energy cycle we
benefit a working ecosystem
Wood is a natural raw material
which, when highly compressed
in the form of briquettes, has
similar heating capacities to coal.
This concludes the natural cycle,
as wooden briquettes only release
as much CO2 into the atmosphere
as a mature tree removes via
photosynthesis!

Wooden briquettes can be used
not only in stoves and furnaces,
but in almost all solid-fuel burning
equipment. Briquette-making
presses cut YOUR waste to a mini-
mum. Your wood remains a natural
product, as it is compressed under
high pressure without bonding a-
gents into briquettes of the same
size and density, which comply with
the requirements of the DIN 51731
standard.
